Joe Pesce says:

Jpx 900 hot metal have served me well. I dropped my hcp from 16 to 7.7. Mostly hard work, but being fitted correctly with a club I adore helps a ton. Thought about the mp-18 SC/MMC, but don’t want to lose any progress this coming up 2018 season. Great review, I trust your ball striking. Your the only reviewer that does toe and heel strikes. Keep them coming!

Peter Choma says:

Titleist ap1 was surprisingly short for a strong lofted oversized iron, should have had a deduction for being 5 to 10 yards shorter than the rest of the pack. Why no pxg 0311xf?

primostoy says:

Great testing on irons, love the way you show what a toe/heel shot effect would be on the ball flight.

ahoyahoy booth says:

good stuff but no benross?

Peter Davies says:

I have taken to watching quite a few reviews and general coaching videos as I have only recently fell in love with the game of golf. 2 weeks ago I went an got fitted for a set of clubs and I wish the kind gent that fitted me for the Ping G400’s I purchased had seen this video, am not the greatest golfer at present but I intend to develop further as I discussed with the gent that fitted me for the Ping G400’s when we spoke about the possabilities of taking lessons with him.
Anyway. I will get back into store and sort out some lessons Nick, and once again, Thank you for the G400’s let’s hope I hold onto them longer than they hold onto the green.

Cheers

Hi Nick, great comparison video as always!

How about a comparison video for beginners / budget game improvement irons (e.g. Fazer XR or Wilson Pro Staff HDX which are stocked by AmericanGolf) vs some of the mid-priced /premium brands brands featured in this video?

Not everyone has £400+ to invest in new irons and it would be interesting to see the performance differences on trackman in the budget range vs mid-range/premium.

the links lizard says:

Great video Nick ,ap1 rock great club’s.

Thomas Klang says:

I really like that coffemug! 😉

Greg Milam says:

Good review, but I was just wondering with your other criteria such as cost and looks and feel at all those which one would you put in the bag?

Jeffrey Katz says:

Nick could you review Mizuno JPX 919 Tour, please thanks.

tony penny says:

Nick i have a question for you, i have a really high ball flight not a long hitter my irons stop very fast so is it on the swing and how some one hits the ball to what club will suit them.

Adam Ryan says:

Smash factor?

Mike Farrell says:

Nick ,not many people using game improvers will be using a stiff shaft and prov1 golf balls

Steven Mclean says:

Great video keep up the great work

Seve Sellors says:

Great review Nick, I tried AP1 and was very impressed, also tried the TS2 driver and as 21 handicapper not only gained yards with these clubs but found them very solid and forgiving.
In many tests and at many local pro shops and American golf outlet AP1 always comes out top or near the top.

Ed Mc says:

You do the best comparisons Nick always good information thanks.
