It is necessary for golfers to have another option and hopefully it can help better their golf game. Also, it is new and different thats what makes it special.
They need to bring it out to compete against the PXG / T.M type clubs
what is the simulator and launch monitor that you use? I love the setup you have and I’m trying to get something similar so I can tinker with my game.
would you say this club stacks up against Callaway APEX or Ping I200? looks good with loads of improvement?
So it’s forgiving, has distance, sexy looking, and looks like a “players” club? Checks all the boxes for me
They’re even nicer in reality feel better than AP1, maybe strong lofts but certainly high flight, love them
AP3 has a slightly bigger club head than the AP2
the 718 ap2 looks like a really old ap1 model
I am 11 handicap what would you recommend AP3 or Ping G400?
43 degree wedge is ridiculous! How are you supposed to gap the bottom of your bag with that?
The look was the best out of the range when I first saw them. Really disappointed in the lofts if they pitched them in the middle and got the wedge end closer to 45 this set would be needed and see it alongside the G range with ping. Playability forgiveness and not too chunky
It got the look and feel, just superb!
Can you imagine if say TaylorMade had done this and brought out a club that to be honest, is just there as a marketing tool and just trying to flood the market with clubs that are not really needed. Next time the TM or Callaway haters moan about too many clubs remember they are not the only ones doing this.
Not sure why these are so exciting.. sounds like ap1…. similar irons to m1 and steelhead pro…..’ noting new, actually expected more after seeing the launch
Happy I went ap2 after seeing this
The AP2 five iron is 28 degrees, The AP3 4 iron is 21 degrees – that is a big gap for a blended set
seems like its a ap1 with less offset. and looks more like a tour iron.. maybe for your better golfer whos getting a tad older and cant hit as long anymore?
How do they compare to the G400 irons ?
where in the world does one go to buy a “split” set?
Just about ready to pull the trigger on the AP3 (15 handicap). My question is should I forget the gap wedge and replace it with a similar Vokey or is the gap wedge supplied just as good for the money?
should be called ap1.5
I absolutely think that AP3 is necessary. Finally Titleist has a slim iron with lot of forgiveness and distance.
Not sure there was much need for another set of AP irons & I’m not a massive fan of the look compared to the ap1 or ap2⛳
From what I heard, the tour players gaming the AP2’s didnt want Titleist jacking around with the lofts and offset etc. So the AP3 was created to compete in the consumer market better. Now they can pump up lofts and inject new technologies every year like every other manufacturer to keep a foothold in the retail space while still keeping the increasing number of tour players adopting the AP2 happy. The AP3 makes more sense if that is indeed the case
Can you do a head to head with the ap3 and the p790??
