Hi Rick ! Could you maybe make a comparison video for the ad333, softfeel and the zstar and maybe the same for Titleist. What is the exact difference between a Prov1(x) and the Nxt tour(s) and maybe trusoft for example.
Rick, LOVE the channel.
Question: I have played the Chrome Soft for a couple years and really like the feel. My concern is that when you posted your test of the Callaway balls, the Chrome Soft had a slower ball speed off the driver than almost every other premium ball you have tested. What do you make of that?
p.s. Thanks for doing this review on the Z-star XV. I used it a couple years ago for a summer and liked everything about it but not so much the feel around the green – was a little firm. Headed out to pick up a dozen of the regular Z stars.
Just shot a PB of 79 with a Z-Star I found on the first hole! Absolutely love it and it still looks exactly like it did (brand new) when I first found it after 18 holes. Absolutely loved the feel and the durability is excellent just as you said Rick.
Just bought a dozen of the XV’s last week. Love how they play 50 yards in, great ball!!!
Hey Rick. How do feel about the Srixon Soft Feel? That’s the ball I play. I’m considering trying one of these. Thanks for the content, man.
Rick what’s WhistleSportsGolf???
How about an old ball like Taylormade penta just to see how far the new balls has come?
Love to see a Q Star review. Keep up the great work!
Hi Rick. Could you do a test between the Z star and the AD333 Tour please? Currently gaming the AD333 Tour and love them (especially for £19.99 a dozen) but always eye up the Z Star. Would like to see what you think the differences are
Review the Srixon AD333 Tour
Would you be willing to do a review of the srixon z65 iron series
Hey Rick! You should give the Wilson Staff Duo and Fifty Elite a go for testing. Both have great soft feel, high spin on short shots and perform beautifully. I want to see how you like that compared me. Thanks!
i want to see actual tp5x vs prov1x video. i know u can compare from videos but it be more accurate. but if ure talking other brands i think it be good to try the Snell like others have mentioned.
What about testing the golf balls used by 15+ handicappers. Chrome soft, Srixon Q, and the Teitlist distance etc. I am fine with Pro V1’s but I can lose 3 balls per round on a bad day. At $6 per ball, it becomes an expensive game. As I try to improve, is there a ball I should be using which will promote spin and not cost me the earth
Is it just the camera angle or is the cover of the XV thicker?
I was using the Q-Star last year and was breaking 90 regularly. Moved ‘up’ to the Z-Star XV this year and felt they were more ‘brittle’ feeling. The Q-Stars were in the 80 compression range and the XV’s are 105, and as such a much harder ball to compress.
Taylormade Project A please
Hi, don’t suppose I can be cheeky and get you to do a clip with your 3 favourites in the net……
Q-Star Tour vs Project A
Dear Rick I hope this findes you well I have a vrs 2.0 covert tour driver and I’m 11 plz could you tell me what the best settings would be also I’m left handed thankful if you could reply
Can you test the Q Star and Q Star Tour?
I know this isn’t a golf ball but I’d like to see you test the seemore putters
Can you do a comparison of the really expensive balls vs the cheap ones? I’d love to see if there’s actually much difference.
Can you review the 2 piece balls Taylormade burner soft, soft feel, nxt tour etc etc and also the cheaper 3 piece balls
Thanks
can you test Dunlop tour soft
Can you review q star and ulti soft cheers
Only 2 balls I really love to use in my bag in serious rounds are the Bridgestone E6s and the srixon Z stars. I used to play the old Nikes and callaways but these 2 when I was looking around were always my favorite and most consistent ball I’ve ever used
Hi Rick, please test the Srixon soft feel. I keep hitting the expensive balls into the water or rough then pull out the cheapo soft feel and play out of my skin. I really like them, they go as far with the driver and hold the greens and as the name would suggest they feel soft chipping and putting. Great all around ball. (I play off a 6.8)
I wish you would do the Maxfli 6 layered ball
