How much distance in percentage do you lose on driving range balls?

mastersteve78 says:

what do you think of old unopened box of balls, like ten to twelve years old?

joseph pattison says:

I play the Srixon Z Star. They sell for $30 bucks a dozen. They’re excellent golf balls. I can’t see paying $20 bucks more when I’m not seeing the difference between the balls. The Srixon spins just fine.

Allen Chu says:

thx one ever talks about golfballs. Hey Clay can you do a video regarding back spin and spinning the ball back when it lands?

Billy DeGroot says:

Would you recommend Vice golf balls

Stephen Harris says:

Modern golf balls don’t get waterlogged. The major refurbishing companies have multiple “grades” of golf ball to choose from, so you get exactly what you choose( I would recommend refurbished golf balls to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative.) Also, a tour ball won’t make a slice or hook worse. More backspin doesn’t equal more curve. If it did, then short irons and wedges would curve more than drivers. However, I will agree that losing five dollar golf balls will make you question your existence!

cgasucks says:

All quality golf balls go the same driver distance since they are restricted by the USGA.

Dave Parry says:

Clay as a 9 hcp golfer winter golf can get very wet here in Wales is it more beneficial to use the same golf ball all year or by using a harder/cheaper type ball wouldn’t harm your game in the long run?

graham jones says:

My best ever round 1 under par gross was done last year with a srixon ad333 a cheap ball!

Wanheda says:

How about recycled golf balls? I usually buy used pro v1x golf balls. They are about $12 for 12 balls and maybe 2-3 will have some damage to them. Do these fall into the same realm as refurbished as far them possibly spending months below water, or are they just practice balls that have been hit a few times?

Martin Clark says:

What is the difference between 3 layer, 4 layer etc in golf balls
