Can this device measure distance in meters ? Or yards only ?

PIGER96 says:

mc lovin says:

Robert Traynor says:

you can`t find a 1meter fence
it only measures in yards so your tutorial is not correct…….

Jim Conlon says:

What a disaster of explaining of how to find a range with it !…. sounds like u haven’t a clue how this really works ! …if you did you would have explained properly on paper rather than babbling on about how good it was ! … put me to sleep ..

Ratchet says:

What is the unit used to enter the height of an object? Is it on ft, inches or centimeter?

DBrodieAllen says:

seems quite complicated

Giovanni Vignola says:

ragazzi scusate ho avuto un problema con l’indirizzo email ritrasmettete la richiesta all’indirizzo email

Bob Bober says:

Mike Jones says:

Cool little review, I’ve been curious as to how they worked so thanks for sharing.

Think I’ll stick to my Vision King 6×20 Solar powered Laser Rangefinder @£98 though!

mark stanford says:

total and utter piece of fucking shit

Lucas De Lábio Silvério says:

thx man….

AirGunsPlusReviews says:

first of all you have to input your desired items height, which your trying to find the height of.
then keep pressing (or hold down) the other button till the space between the two horizontal lines fit the profile of your item your ranging.

this will give you your range.

failing this, the instructions should give you the idea

Stephen Vaughn says:

Thanks for the review, Ill be buying this on eBay, they have them for $10 bucks

AirGunsPlusReviews says:

10cm is the largest object it can find. they are made to find the flag pole not the ball.

Adam Neale says:

how long does this take to get a reading? I am wanting to use this for golf but if it takes some time to get a reading from it, may not be worth it to me. Also can you put in FT for distance when entering the size object you are wanting to find.

Josh Chapman says:

Il just tell the rabbits to wait while i measure how tall they are shall i

Allan Rodgers says:

Jesus! If that is what a tutorial is supposed to consist of, I am truly from a different planet.

Giovanni Vignola says:

IamLefty1976 says:

Thanks for the quick review! I am looking for a cheap range finder to help aid me in putting up targets at correct distances. I’m only going to use it for this and can’t see dropping $100 or more on something I’m only going to probably a few times. So,if it actually works that’s all I really wanted to know. I didn’t want to spend money on something that didn’t work. So,thanks for the review!

Paul DA Silva says:

Can this rangefinder be used to measure in meters or can it only be measured in yards????

Justin Watkins says:

get this one, funny, just bought the 5 20, and i hate it!!!!!

john tucker says:

thanks for the detail but u just put years on me haha talking about the package and gel ,,

Dtyler171 says:

Sounds way overly complicated for a golf rangefinder. I’d rather just hit the shot than take a minute to find the range.

Ryan Thornton says:

How much??

John Muriel says:

Rezah6 says:

LOL buy it if you want to or dont buy it if you dont want to….so much yadda yadda

sebastian penny says:

Hi there great review, i just brought one but it didn’t say what are the measurements are being used when entering the height, e.g. ft, inches, cm etc. I was just wondering if you knew? thanks

Seriously?  Its just a calculator.  What a crock of shit!   Thanks for the review.  I was going to buy one of these for a rifle, but now I’m not.  What I’m ranging out there… I’m not going to know how “high” it stands…

Matt6579 says:

Now small can you say the target is like can it be in inches

shovelchop81 Biker Alex says:

just got one today, works fine and just as the reviewer described, so thanks! For anyone who might still be confused, you just enter the height of the object in meters, in my case a piece of A4 which is 30cm so 00.3m, so just enter in 000.3 into the rangefinder, stand back to where you want to shoot from, hold the base line (black horizontal line at the bottom in the optic) at the bottom edge of the object, in my case the sheet of A4 and press the adjust button until the top line travels down to the top of the object, in my case the top edge of the A4. I had previously measured the distance with a tape measure just to check this tool’s accuracy and found it to be spot on; it told me the sheet of A4 was 33 yards away which it is, I tried it a bit closer to double check, again at a premeasured distance of 7 yards and again the range finder was correct. Very simple really.

AirGunsPlusReviews says:

depends; the bushnell is for 50-200yards, where as this rangefinder adjusts for more variable distances.
this rangefinder is more versitile but the bushnell looks to be quicker to use for certain conditions….

Ben Campbell says:

Are these good? And are they complicated?

Michael Fitzgerald says:

pure rubbish , full of flaws , as are all these range finders . cant see over hills , cant see round doglegs, cant see through trees.  utterly useless , unless you think your cool… NOT . sky caddie sg5 GPS . does all these things and more.

Ash Eivani says:

Honestly, first I opened it and started working, it gave me the hell as I had read the negative comments as well and was extremely unsatisfied about the performance, but the more I worked with and got its concept, the more I am starting to enjoy it. I think this gadget is not perfect but for a $20 gadget, it is a good thing as it gives you the rough distance which even some laser-equipped gadgets, do not. So, all in all;  I would say it is worth the price. If you need more accurate things, go for laser-equipped gadgets for a higher prices ($ +100)
